Bringing our little girl home!

Well I have been radio silent on this blog for a bit... but so much has happened!  Three months ago we received a profile of a very sweet and adorable little girl named Muaysai.  I had heard about this little girl during my first conversation with a social worker from Holt when we were determining what possible special needs we might be open to.  In an effort to explain that I was open to limb differences I had said, "If she is missing a hand or foot ... it's not a big deal to me." Mae from Holt immediately replied that there was a little girl in Thailand that fit that exact description but they had not yet completed their assessments and so her profile wasn't available.  Of course I immediately thought, that's it... she's the one! (Mind you this was back in January.)  However if you remember, my husband Travis was still coming around the idea that we were not done adding children to our family and thinking about special needs at that time was just too much....
