Bettering Our Together: We have officially begun the adoption process!!!
Our application process to adopt our little girl has begun! I am excited and anxious for the steps ahead. I have so many stories that have led up to this huge decision that we now share with you. My past experiences in working with various orphanages around the world (Mexico, Uganda, China), God's evident orchestration and my husband's gracious flexibility (SURPRISE honey, I know we had decided we were "done" having children but...:) have played the biggest role in this decision. How I wish my mother was still here to witness this exciting time in our lives! Despite her physical absence, I do feel her spirit close. How else do I describe the blooming of the gorgeous camellia on the day I met with the kind Mae from Holt International?
